Numerical study of tornado-induced unsteady crosswind response of railway vehicle using multibody dynamic simulations

چکیده
The tornado-induced unsteady crosswind responses of railway vehicles are investigated by using multibody dynamic simulations. Firstly, a aerodynamic force model is proposed the equivalent wind method and quasi-steady theory validated experimental data. Uetsu line accident caused tornado winds on December 25, 2005 then multi-body simulation. predicted scenes show favorably agreement with those obtained from survey when maximum tangential velocity around 41 m/s core radius 30m. Finally, amplification factor (DAF) for in systematically studied it increases as passing time decreases. It found that DAF can be effectively suppressed damping parameters increase while decreases slightly natural frequency increases. A simple to predict also based simulation results.
